Genevieve is transformed before her husband's eyes from a sophisticated, assured woman to a little girl who hurts, cries and loses control. Eric Jerome Dickey is back with his superb storytelling, this time it is a marriage in crisis in Genevieve. The unnamed narrator is a Buppie who has got it all; a career in medical research, a beautiful home in the Los Angeles hills and a beautiful wife with whom he is crazy in love. This is definately in my Top 5 of favorite EJD novels. Chapter 1 could stand alone as one of the hottest openings ever! The dialogue between the characters, at times, get a little long and boring but the story is...well... damn!    I know a book is good when I hate to put it down and I lose sleep because I have read what happens in the next sentence, paragraph, and chapter. This was such a book! Now comes the dreaded part of waiting for his next one!
