Master Maniuplation Lawyers' Style

Imagine learning 110 ways to get your way in every way every day. This is possible with this detailed, example filled Noelle C. Nelson book that seems to have a bit of an obsession with the O.J. Simpson trial.

Imagine also realizing that peole have done these things to you, like I did!

Do you need to know how lawyers do what they do? Can't hurt. Look at all the lawyers there are out there. Look at all of them that get into politics so that more laws can bring them more business.

Most important, does this deportment tedium translate to everyday life and business and personal relationships? Depends on your feelings about manipulation, who you want to manifuplate and who you don't think it is right to manipulate. Remember, though, no one likes to believe they have manipulated.

And, while I understand how difficult it is to embrace brevity, the book is 200 pages tops spread out over 380 pages. That being said, the checklist of the 110 techniques beginning on page 365 is wonderful and useful and could have been made much more user-friendly if pages were put next to each step.

Because I was curious and driven by the powerful possibilities, I slogged my way through the book. It is a tedius read in small, light type. If I were smarter when I began reading the book and saw the lay of the land, I would have used the Technique Summary on page 365 more intelligently. For example, the First Step section includes trustworthiness, positive focus, cleanliness, grooming, accessorizing and fitness and being dedicated and committed. I already do these things, so I can skip seven of the 14 techniques and concentrte on what I need to learn or do better.
