A while ago, I got the Boo Hoo Bird by the same author. It has become a fast favorite in our house. We read it often and when the little one gets hurt we bring up the book. So when I saw Grumpy Bird, I had to order it immediately.

Grumpy Bird has all the same characters as in the Boo Hoo Bird. In this case, Bird wakes up grumpy. At first, Bird just wants to get away from everyone else and goes walking but his friends just join him. Eventually, Bird forgets that he's grumpy and begins to enjoy himself.

This book is a great detraction method when little ones wake up grumpy after a nap.
