Summoned to the Center City Wizard's Guild, Hamilton Swoop revisits his past, then discovers his amazing magical destiny... Hamilton's mundane life as an antique shopkeeper in Green Ridge changed overnight when a mysterious rune-covered trunk turned up amongst the merchandise he purchased at an estate sale. The trunk's bizarre contents compelled him to close up his shop and begin a journey to Center City, where he hoped to find some answers. There are no coincidences when it comes to magic, but more questions than answers waited for Hamilton at the once revered establishment. What happened to all the old, powerful Wizards? Why did the current Guildmaster choose to summon him, when Hamilton was shunned by the organization so many years ago? Strangest of all-the Dragon-like creature menacing the area surrounding Center City-what could a powerless Wizard like Hamilton do about it?
