Handle with Care is a novel that is well written and accurate with regard to the emotions experienced by a parent of a child with special needs.  It shows the lengths a parent is willing to go to to protect and preserve the life of their child.  The mother in this story is so extremely driven to care for her child that she risks uprooting her life.  She tampers with her marriage, her friendships, and her relationship with her child.  I think the underlying story of the “forgotten …
