The entire series of Harry Potter is a magical journey. These stories are entrancing and pull the reader right into the world of Hogwarts.

One of the greatest young adult series ever written.

I know that everyone in the world loves these books. And I think the stories are fun and the magical worlds are great, and I understand why they're so successful. But I don't think J.K. Rowling is a particularly good writer. Kids don't mind this. And neither did I when I was younger. But as I got older, I liked the books less and less. I don't regret having read them. I think most people should. But I wouldn't want to reread them. Once was enough for me.

In my opinion the Harry Potter series is the greatest fictional series for the preteen-teen age group. The action is captivating, the story line intriguing, and the characters interesting. No matter what age the reader the Harry Potter series offers something or someone to identify to. Whether it is an underlying ideology or a specific trait of a character the series brings forth something that everyone can connect to. On a more simple level this series of books is simply put entertaining. Even …

As a complete history, very good, if overly long toward the end. Character development and story development dovetail beautifully. Things in book 7 have introduction in book 1. Well thought out!

Let me just tell you that there is a reason that the Harry Potter books are so popular.  They are not overrated. They are incredibly addicting and fun to read.  You will love the story, love the characters, love the novels!  Beware that once you start reading you will not be able to stop, you will have to buy all of the books and read them ALL within a few months.  After reading the books also the movies are pretty disappointing. JK Rowling is a great author, very talented and …

How can anyone pass up Harry Potter? It it the holy grail! What J.R. has done is tap into a need in people to imagine something different. A world where the things you wish would happen, does happen. Heroes and villains, good and evil fighting it out. A must read for anyone wanting to become a serious writer.
