Made to Understand

I was unable to figure out what all the fuss concerning Harry Potter was about. As a fan of fantasy and someone who works with children, I made a promise to read the first book in the series and discover myself what the fuss is about. What in the world was I waiting for?

Most decidedly curmudgeonly! Yes, that's it. I picked up my first Harry Potter book at the end of 4th grade. Great beginning for the series

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone aka Sorcerer's Stone written by JK Rowling is one of my favorite books of all time. It is an excellent Young Adult novel and is a great way to start the Harry Potter Saga. Rowling takes us to another world filled with magic and strange creatures. A Quick Tip by simbaraves

read this book in the 3rd or 4th grade. since then ive read it about 20 more times. the harry potter series is one of my favorite series of books in the world. the way they all just go together, the stories dont stray off, its all about trying to get rid of voldemort. its too the point, very well written. you can tell she kind of changed directions somewhere in the story from her original ideas. but that just made her writing style even more signature than it already was. really good first book.
