This is a excellent memoir about how a former advertising executive named Michael Gates Gill finds joy in making and serving coffee working at Starbucks in New York. He learns the value of hard work. He does everything from cleaning toilets, making drinks and working the cash register. I liked reading about his struggles on the job and the pride he gets from doing it.
