Take a little time and enjoy Nicholas. Nicholas is like many children these days. He is constantly on the move. His schedule is filled with violin lessons, karate lessons, swimming lessons, figure skating lessons, and so many different types of lessons. All the poor boy seems to hear is "hurry up, you'll be late for your next lesson".

Nicholas' parents mean well. They want their son to have access to a lot of different experiences. The problem is that the boy has no time to rest let alone play and have fun. Maybe that's a lesson we should all learn.

Thanks for the review Tami. It looks like this is a good book for parents! Children know exactly what they want and how to balance play/work... adults on the other hand are a different story! :-) So they bring the teachers to him, genius! That's what we're doing in a way because we're homeschooling.
