Thanos was a villain who had been around for years, and he did cause Earth's Heroes some trouble. However, it was the Inifinty Gauntlet that officially put him on the map, and established Thanos as a true threat to not only the heroes, but also the cosmic beings who roam the universe. His actions during this storyline even brought the great Eternity to his knees. That says a lot right there.

Be looking forward to that. I really didn't think the other two were that good. Crusade was interesting but I didn't really get into it. War was heavily supported by the crossovers, without them, that story is bland as hell. The Infinity Gauntlet is by far the best to me.
