A Vampire Novel For Those Who Don't Read Vampire Novels

Spoilers. I must admit that I don't think I've ever read a vampire novel before. Of course I can't truly escape vampire culture, but normally, it's just not my thing. But I am a big Meg Cabot fan and was drawn to the premise of Insatiable and Meena's character. I'm so glad I got sucked in because this is one of my favorites of all her novels. In this vampire spoof, Meg Cabot writes a fun chick-lit book. Yes, it is predictable and the attraction between Lucien and Meena doesn't make much sense, but the book is still enjoyable.
