The female "Dirty Dozen"

Ken Follett writes very exciting books, and this is certainly one of them. The action is almost non-stop, as is the suspense. Despite the breakneck pace of the book, the author does take the time to give us some character background for most of the folks, and that helps a lot in retaining our sympathies. He's even considerate enough to give the major Nazi figure some redeeming (at least in his own eyes) qualities, which serves to make him not the total monster we often meet in books of this type. If you want a read that will keep you turning pages from beginning to end, and one that you will enjoy, I recommend this bok.
