This book is great for learning to recognize bullies and understanding the types of bullying you can encounter. For instance, it talks about verbal bullying - gossiping, making hurtful jokes etc. - which is more common among girls. E-bullying is also talked about in detail. The book also talks about why some kids like to bully others and the damage they can do. Through real stories from kids, it helps the reader figure out if they are being bullied, or even if they themselves may be a bully.     …

My little girl is only four years old, so bullies have not yet been much of a problem. (Except for one bigger boy at the park one day who made her cry, but we never did find out just what he said) However, as someone who also teaches martial arts and self-defense, I recognize the problem of bullies.
