The Earth is once again in danger, this time from an alien invasion where the origin is the planet Krypton. Aliens are being demonized by politicians and there is a supposed set of super robots that can challenge and defeat superheroes. DNA samples are demanded from anyone suspected of being an alien, but it is the aliens themselves that are fueling the hysteria. They are using it to capture and imprison the members of the Justice League in order to eliminate any force capable of standing against them. Since I grew up reading comics when the stories were much tamer and they were more strictly controlled, I tend to be conservative about changes to the fundamental nature of the heroes and villains. However, in this case I loved the story; the action is dynamic, tense and demonstrates the JLA members acting as a team. It is a worthy addition to the stories about comic book heroes and the villains they battle. The artwork is slick and very well done.
