Mitch Rapp breezed through his CIA training and was unleashed on the terrorist group responible for the mass killings of the passengers on the Pan Am Lockerbie attack.

He has a list and eliminates the terrorists one by one, installing fear in the other members of the terroist group that they are being hunted.

He's given the name of the next person on the list and hunts him down in Paris. Something doesn't seem right and just as he eliminates the terrorist, the room explodes in gunfirer from paramilitary people who were waiting for him.

He narrowly escapes and wonders if he was set up.

This is a feel good story of retribution telling of Matt's early days and his attempt to accomplish what no one else has, to strike against the terrorists who killed innocent people.  These terrorists feel they are shielded from any revenge but Mitch solves that by acting outside the law.

The story moves effortlessly with a number of surprises and plot twists, then comes to a satisfying conclusion.
