The Doors!

Light My Fire gave a real insight to the Doors.  It was written by the Doors' organist so it is an clsoe look inti the lives of Jim Morrison and the other band members.  There were recounts of the band's struggles, successes, the parties, women, drugs and the music.  Reading this book helped me better appreciate the music of the Doors.  It was an easy read because it was mostly short experiences and stories.  I would reccomend this book to any Doors fan.  However, some parts of the book might be for more mature audiences.  There is a bit of language and some explicit parts.  After reading this book, the reader has a better understanding of the  band members and their personalities as well as a look into their personal lives.  Lighy My Fire is a good book if you want a more intimate look into the lives of the Doors.
