Good for a beach read, but not Alisa's best book ever...

This book is a lighthearted, easy read. Good for a beach read or a distraction from stress, but not much else.
One thing I did secretly love about this book were the thinly veiled stabs at celebrities. Character Jill Sanchez (aka "J.San") is definitely J.Lo, just as "D.Kitty" is P.Diddy, Ricky is likely Marc Anthony, Jack Ingroff is Ben Affleck, and so on. Alisa's takes on these celebrities had me giggling deviously. The other characters in this book are a little too predictable and typical. One nice thing? The story lines shift between a handful of characters' perspectives, so it's hard to get bored.
All-in-all, this is definitely not one of Alisa's best books -- I almost feel like she wrote it just to take stabs at J.Lo.
P.S. Wondering what Alisa Valdez-Rodriguez's beef is with J.Lo? Apparently they were in talks to turn Alisa's book "Dirty Girls Social Club" into a movie, and J.Lo burned her.
