Uninspired to Connect to Author's Telling From the Beginning

I picked up this book because I've been a profound 'fan' of Mother Teresa since I was literally three years old.

I've followed her deeds on the news throughout my life, read "A Simple Path" several times, and even visited her ashram in Kolkata.

I was hoping for yet another inspiring Mother related story in this book. Sadly this book could not pique or keep my interest.

The author begins the book with speaking at length about how he knew she'd have wanted him to write this book. And on he goes, almost as if he really does 'know' her from the inside out. And while Fr. Langford no doubt has a more personal knowledge of Mother Teresa than I do, I'm not sure writing is his best median for sharing that.

Though my personal experience with connecting to this book fell short, I'm certain it could/would provide some type of inspiration for others who may not be as familiar with the tales of the Mother's life. This was the reason for two stars rather than my one-star experience.
