The Twilght Zone is my all-time favorite show and I remember this specific episode as my indoctrination into this series where ironic endings to super natural and science fiction tales was the rule.  What makes this episode doubly special is, as Luncher Count Orlock pointed out to me, that it was written by Richard Matheson, one of my favorite writers.      William Shatner plays a tense man on a trip home.  He is recently recovering from a nervous breakdown and any …

My favorite episode of "The Twilight Zone" and one of Matheson's most memorable stories. Truly an iconic sci-fi tale for the 20th century!!!
