This is an excellent acquisition for the student in your home.
The work is well-organized. For instance, the presentation
is set forth as follows:
- a language study section
- geographic maps
- cultural data
- today's English usage
- pictures of musical instruments are drawn to a smaller scale

There are thousands of words defined succinctly. Over 12T idioms
are set forth. Illustrations are provided for 1700 words.

A sample definition is set forth:

" abbot- a man or person who heads a monastery (abbey)"

- 'aebet

The volume is a solid value for the price charged.
