Read with a box of tissues!! You'll be crying oceans!!
Years before the movie adaptation was made my sister had picked up this book and was raving about it to me... insisting I had to read it! She was telling me how emotional it was and how she was bawling reading this book. Yeah. That did not sell me on it! *laugh* but years later, still before the movie was made I found it cheap in a used book store and figured why not. I'm so glad I gave in a read it! Yes, its emotional.
