This is one of the best books I have ever found through the Amazon Vine program. There are books that you love, books that you can't put down, and books that transport you to a different time or place. This is not a book about types or prayer or a prescription for how to pray. Rather it is a gentle reminder to live a life of prayerfulness, and prayerful attitudes. To keep prayer as an integral part of our lives is difficult. It involves compassion, humility, and gratitude. I ordered this book with the best of intentions. I want to connect with God on a deeper level and I thought this book would help that process. The book probably would if I could get through it. I don't know if my inability to finish this book is reflective of the author's writing style or where I am spiritually.    I do enjoy reading Christian and spiritual books.
