I looked forward to this book, but there just aren't enough laughs to sustain the absurd premise for its 384 pages. There was nothing here that I found particularly hilarious or memorable. In all fairness, I must admit that I didn't find Pride and Prejudice and Zombies to be very funny either; if that was to your tastes, then you'll probably enjoy Queen Victoria: Demon Hunter.
