Dilbert humor is a good way to cheer yourself up if you are caught in the corporate bog

To most people that read and chuckle over the Dilbert comic strip, it is an act equivalent to whistling past a graveyard. Clueless management, phony numbers, insecure workers and poor quality products touted as golden seem to be standard fare in the modern corporate world. Nearly everyone that reads the strip recognizes incidents from their work history and if nothing else laughing about it is a good way to cope and release frustration.
If you are insecure in your job, and if you are it is a sign of sanity in modern times, then keeping the most positive attitude possible is the best way to cope. An injection of the wry humor of the Dilbert strip is a good way to stay cheerful, although it is natural to groan at the humor on occasion.
