This book was just okay for me. If you frequent [..] or have kept up with pop culture, this book is going to be something of a bore. As I read through it, the content just felt ... old and too familiar. Much of the material is centered on posts, news items and stories already featured on Perez Hilton's site, making the book itself feel more like a review of the past few years in the lives of celebrities like Paris Hilton, Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan than a book that was really new and broke …

In the interests of full disclosure, I have to admit that I didn't know who Perez Hilton was when I started reading this book. I thought perhaps he was a brother of Paris Hilton or something. Also, I had never heard of quite a few of the people this book mentions. My idea of a celebrity is Richard Feynman.    Wow! This is not my typical reading choice, but I thought it might be fun. It's silly and snarky. Above all, it is about the HERE & NOW - the same thing that makes this edgy will make it dated in about 36 hours.     Hilton has made a "career" of pointing out celebrity hijinks.
