Doctor Clifford Cowen is a pompous, overbearing, repugnant man. He is also a brilliant psychiatrist. Doctor Cowen is extremely driven, not because he cares about his patients or hopes to actually improve the field of psychiatry. No mostly this obnoxious person just likes the fact that as he climbs the ladder of success he gets more and more opportunities to lord over others and make them feel inferior. What a jerk!

I didn't feel sorry one bit for Cowen when his girlfriend finally wised up and left him. Actually, I felt a little vindicated. But the events that followed left me sickened and wondering how even Doctor Clifford Cowen could get himself into such a spot. What a sicko!
