I just love these Touch and Feel books. I find that the toddlers (even to age three) like to touch the pictures and it seems to help them learn concepts like the shapes in this book easily. Within one or two reads, they are ready to read the book themselves, making up little stories.

The younger ones, under two, love the bright colors and the bright smiling happy faces. The touching parts encourage interaction. I think that early experiences with books and reading, especially enjoyable ones, make all the difference in whether a child will grow into an adult that likes to read.
