First of all, I am a biased reader of Ted Dekker because I am a Christian, and I find his work challenging on a spiritual level.      The General:   I loved the deeper implications book. Throughout the read, you are limited to the world the characters perceive around them - you take part in their confusion at the strange world-warp they are in, and no matter how you think it, you have no answer for their plight, no explanation for their circumstances.   The …

Not bad writing, but I CAN NOT STAND how far Ted Dekker swerves to avoid cussing. Either avoid it completely, or just say the word, but don't go halfway and leave it hanging.
