This "Manga style" illustrated novel has several short stories or episodes centering around The Original Star Trek TV series. Each short story is written and illustrated by a different writer and artist. Because of this, each story has it's own unique style.    I think this concept is very interesting and has the potential to keep this series fresh and creative. As part of an ongoing manga invasion of the West, TokyoPop has tackled the original Star Trek series with a collection of tales infused with new energy for a generation that adores Eastern cartooning.
