If you're like me the first thing that strikes you as you read this book is that Steve Jobs led a mythological life. Put up for closed adoption by unmarried parents who eventually married, rejected by the first would be adoptive parents, then adopted by working class parents, it would be difficult to conceive a more inauspicious beginning, or a more auspicious outcome. This is a book that has many layers to it. Hence, after the initial review (Think Different! which was featured on Lunch), I decided to do another one that focused more on the business aspect of Steve Jobs. He dedicated his life in this arena more so than any other aspects and it seems fitting to highlight what he did and what we can all learn from him. Kobo is having a 20% off this weekend so I got it for just $13. Read up to Chapter 4 and it's easy to read despite the electronics component of Jobs' job and life! Here's one guy who didn't lead a normal life, not since he was in school!!! To sum up so far, I think he got away with lots of things!
