Street Players is about a a pimp name Earl and the trouble he suffers because of an disgruntled former employee named Fay. Earl doesn't take too kindly when one of his "ladies" causes too much drama causing him to drop her like a bad habit. Fay brings down so much heat upon Earl that he starts to lose control of his cushy situation and ends up on the wrong end of the pimpin' game. Can Earl regain his composure and reestablish himself or will he become just another victim of the streets?

Another dark tale from Donald Goines. Unlike Hollywood's depiction of the "life", Goines realistic portrayal of the "game" shows that underneath the flash is a corrosion and rust that eats away at the soul. Fast money, loose women goes as quick as it comes.
