I always find Palahniuk's style very easy to read. I love that he puts in just the right amount of description to understand what's going on. I can't stand books that describe EVERY little detail. I thought counting the page and chapter numbers backward was very creative and relevant. While reading I kept expecting some huge twist like all of his other books I have read, only to find none. The beginning of the book states how it will end. I am not sure if I am disappointed or not. I …

A masterpiece of dark humor. I would recommend reading it first before any of Palanhiuk's other stellar books (Fight Club, Invisible Monsters, Choke).
