A book by Steven S. Sadleir
"A beautiful book, full of profundity and sensitivity" --Ram Dass The Awakening, by Steven Sadleir, provides penetrating insight into the nature of one's self and the purpose of existence." --Awareness Magazine
"Impatience is ignorance of what is supposed to be happening in the present moment."
"The more you consciously be, the more your being will be conscious."
"We feel a lack of love, when we are not fully expressing the Divine love within us."
Simply put, The Awakening is a guide to ourself. As we read through a series of thoughts and explanations of those ideas, the way we look at ourself, our life, and our fears change. Becoming self aware is the key. Being who we truly are, the goal.
Each entry in the book serves as a meditation or contemplation in and of itself. Many of these were quite profound, triggering several "aha moments' for me. Others, seemed to stick with me throughout the day as I pondered and tried to grasp the concept or integrate it into my everyday life.
