When I received this book for review, I thought it was the book from which the movie with Danzel Washington, was made. I couldn't have been further from the truth.      In the book, Eli Canaan is a good man who tries to do all the right things like coaching and encouraging his children, putting down the toilet seat after going to the bathroom and putting out the garbage without being asked.
