I loved reading THE ENGLISH ASSASSIN and found the story a page-turner. It's my fourth Daniel Silva book and I've become a fan of his characterization and stories. It's perfect for a few evenings of great entertainment.

Unlike many of the other reviewers here, I haven't read any of Daniel Silva's other books. This one was given to me as a gift, and I approached it without knowing anything about either the author or his character, Gabriel Allon. I found "The English Assassin" to be a well-written novel, with decent characterization and a good pace. The Gabriel character himself was, for me, the most interesting part of the book, and the one thing that might someday cause me to pick up another Silva novel.    Tha …
