The book makes for compelling reading from a cross-cultural and anthropological point-of-view.
After reading Matt Baglio's book-The Rite-the possession case of Anneliese Michel immediately sprang to mind, primarily because of the fictionalized films that were based loosely on her life and case: The Exorcism of Emily Rose as well as Requiem.
