I usually try not to read books about lawyers, because living and working in the profession has given me my own ideas about how the law should be obeyed. This book shows how lawyers can subvert the criminal justice system and get away with it. That's not the only problem with the book. It opens ever so slowly and really doesn't pick up the pace until many readers may have already given up on it.
