Queen of the Damned-Anne Rice
The first time I read Queen of the Damned, I was left in awe. Now, each time I read it I feel intense and the darkness of the mysterious world in which Queen of the Damned is written. It's darkness draws you in and keeps you there. By the end you feel like you witnessed all these events with your very own eyes instead of just reading it.      I would recommend this book to certain readers. It is not for everyone due to its violent content. It is a vampire novel (not like …

To be or not to be a vampire is the question...
If only i  could feel the sun on my skin and the warm breeze on my face . I am one of the lonely people who roam the street at night looking for young , hot beings that if they disappeared no one would notice.I have unsatisfiable hunger and and i am aged , but no one sees me old . the movie blew big time but the book was excellent! it is the backstory of how vampires came into existance, well researched and a very interesting read.

an interesting journey into the creation of the vampire race in Anne rice's world. its amazingly well thought out, and pretty damn believable. The movie rendition however was the most god-awful thing Ive ever seen, the soundtrack is awesome though.

I love how Anne Rice twines historical research into her vampire series. It is an awesome version of the vampire creation story, and well written.

Love Anne Rice - this wasn't my favorite in the Vampire Chronicles, but it's still hard to beat.

in this book we finally get answers to the questions of creation and origin that so many of miss rices' vampires have pondered throughout the previous books. its a very interesting and well thought out storyline.

Contrary to the general public, I find Anne Rice someone who got lucky with one book (Interview with the Vampire) and seemed to rehash a lot of the plot in the unnecessary Vampire Lestat. With this third book she again rehashes the first book and adds a lot of boring characters and endless subplots. I was willing to forgive the liberties that she took with the vampire legend in the first book because it was well written and had interesting characters and subplots. But this one is so boring and painful …
