It took me 63 years to get myself to a place where I could embrace the Rosary. Who knows why? It is exciting to take a journey and experience the spiritual beauty Gary Jansen discovered and chose to share.

To answer your last question, I began praying the rosary daily a couple of years ago and, Like Gary says, it is a beautiful journey to our Heavenly Mother who loves us so much. Many times, I pray through Mary and St. Anthony to Jesus. As an author, I can say that all non-fiction books tend to include memoir, just because non-fiction lends itself to personal stories and experiences. My feeling is that Catholic-lit is a different genre. My feeling always is if you do not know if a person would like to read a book, best to ask them. Hope that helps.
Hi NYWriter! My mom is really into Catholic-lit and I'd love to know more about this book. Is it more how-to or memoir? Did it influence your choice to pray the Rosary?
