Brilliant Djinn Fantasy!

I have always been a Pike fan but this is probably my favorite book of his to date! As a writer he goes where no other writer goes, alternate universes which he has a way of bringing back with him and making it all sound possible. I have always been interested in Djinn and I was swallowed whole by this book! It is dark (think Wishmaster) while being hopeful. I love the different races and storylines he weaves, and I absolutly love the plot twists! This sure seems like a part one, but can be read as a complete story. It just leaves hope for more to come, which I hope there is! Pike is re-establishing his place as a favorite author of mine. This may be young adult but all ages will enjoy!

Pike is one of my all time favorite authors from when I was younger. I should revisit some of my favorites one of these days.
