Wright wrote a slew of books that had Christian imagry and took place inn the Ozark hills. This is by far the best of the lot.

One heck of a story

The first time I read this book was on a New Year's Eve spent at my grandparents' house. I was probably around 10 or 11 years old. I didn't want to go to sleep & I had always seen this book sitting on my grandpa's desk, so I decided to give it a try.
