A good tale

  • Aug 27, 2006
Sawyer weaves an interesting spin on his "mind scanning" series. In this one three different versions of Peter Hobson's mind are scanned into a computer and literally become thinking beings within the net. One of the three, free of some of mankind's restraints, begins killing people that Hobson didn't like. Hobson and his friend Sarker try to figure out which version of Hobson is doing the killings and then try to stop it.

Meanwhile, a detective who investigating the crimes is honing in on Hobson and his wife as possible suspects. However, as she gets closer to the truth, she is also putting her life in danger from the rogue version of Hobson.

Interwoven into this tale is a discovery of a possible human soul and the ramifications to religion, abortion and other political issues it causes.

A very quick read!
