Full disclosure: I am a parent of Liberty students, one of whom was finishing the final semester of her bachelor's degree during Roose's secret semester (now with her Master's degree from Liberty), and two current students. So as my money has helped build the university, it has helped build my children, and I am pleased with the results on both counts. I was raised in a Christian home, but my upbringing really wasn't evangelical in nature. My parents came from very different backgrounds (Catholicism and Pentecostal) and found a middle ground in Methodism. Though I've been a Christian most my life, I didn't become acquainted with the term "evangelism" until I went to college.
