  I love this book. I have read it at least three times, and each time I gain a different, but valuable perspective. This book covers many topics, including (but not limited to): cultural integration, overcoming childhood difficulties, and accepting family values. The book is separated into five different chapters, each with their own story and lessons to be taught. From the very beginning, Kingston states that her writing will be inclusive.
