Veronika Decides to Die

I love this book. It is one of my favorite stories, and given that I'm a writer, I've read a lot of books. The great thing is, I was moved by this book and the way it was told even though it's a translation! There are times when you can tell that it's been translated into English, but it doesn't take too much away from the story. I would give anything to learn Portuguese so that I could read Veronika Decides to Die the way it was meant to be read. I … more

This book impressed me. It has real power of literature - to chage reader's world. I didn't what the ending would be - and it is another good side of this book.
