   White fang was one of the first book's I read. I enjoyed reading it as I love animals especially wolves and dogs. I have read the book a few more times after that. The author Jack London is one of my favourite authors. The book is about the journey of a Wolf dog (Cross between dog and wolf) white fang. All time classic for both adults and children, along with Call of the Wild and other London books. White Fang is for those who love the wilderness, the alpine climates, adventure, large dogs, and the historical and cultural details it provides.

This is the story of a wolf. A wolf who is born, lives in the wild, lives with the natives, then becomes a cage fight dog, and finds true happiness in a loving masters home. Perhaps my main problem with this is the final events: the inclusion of the killer. However, I always loved this one, and continue to read it.

Anything by Jack London is good. I enjoy reading about man versus nature. Nature always wins. Gary Paulson, who has written about survival in the woods is also good. He has a totally different style and writes about different situations besides the wild. Do not expect Jack London when you are reading Gary Paulson.
