Work With Passion in Midlife & Beyond

In our twenties and thirties, the goal is to find a job that pays the bills. Liking the job is a bonus but living your dreams and finding your work fulfilling really isn't all that important. However, once the kids are out of the nest and the hope of retirement draws closer, our priorities change. Suddenly, we realize that we have plenty of passion left in us. Now, with more freedom, we can think about dusting off those old dreams.

Work with Passion in Midlife and Beyond tells us that we all have something special to give. At any age, there is really no reason not to live life fully. Sometimes, we have to do some serious soul searching to figure out what we were meant to do but the outcome is definitely worth the effort.

Work with Passion in Midlife and Beyond asks each reader to write an autobiography calling all the characters by their first names rather than using labels like Mom, Dad, Grandma, etc. At first, this exercise sounds like quite a chore and in many ways it is difficult. Nonetheless, it is absolutely amazing what you learn about yourself and the patterns that you repeat. Many of these patterns go back generations but once exposed to the light of day they almost magically lose their power.
