Zero Proof was music to my ears because I come from a family of non- drinkers. I love creativity when it comes to drinks but most contain alcohol so this is a must have it you want to entertain guests but not bore them to tears with the same old punch and water.
With over 200 recipes from famous bars and restaurants you can serve drinks like the pros and please everyone at your party. It gives clear instructions with a shopping list of ingredients and utensils(yes even glassware) needed to stock your own non alcoholic bar. Even mixology terms are broken down for the layman of the bar and mixing world.
Recipes for tonics, coolers, coladas, daiquiris, and even spicy virgin marys are included. The instructions are very detailed but not lengthy or complicated with lots of room to add your own flare.
Drinks like Orange Avenue Fizz(from Hotel Del Coronado), Strawberry shortcake(from The Ivy Grill) and Fantino Frappe (from The Ritz Carlton) are tasty, unique sure crowd pleasers.
This is a great addition to any kitchen no matter if you’re Susie homemaker or just casually like to entertain in your home. I love all of the varieties of flavors and combinations. I’m no longer afraid to put on a show and let out my inner Martha Stewart because with this book, the possibilities are endless.
