It seems to me that Porto's Surf Cafe does not receive the same buzz as the prior spot Papa Jake's. Although, having experienced both extensively, the under rated Porto's is really growing on me. Ryan White, the new owner and Manhattan Beach native, worked at Papa Jake's for a long period of time so you will definitely see a lot of similarities.
