Chicago is one of America's top cosmopolitan cities. This is probably my most favorite Eastern cities while Vegas is my most favorite Western cities. The main reason being they are cities I enjoyed walking around in!

Avant-garde city!!!

CHICAGO is most beautiful city in wich i lived. The Downtown is very charming, the sears building is the tallest of the city and one the tallest in the world. Is a pleasure to walk by the Cicero avenue and see all the restaurants and luxury hotels. And the embers never fade in your city by the lake

Only a city a mother could love. Or maybe that's Detroit. Anyway...Chicago can be a mean beast. An ice-storm followed by a Governor selling a Senate seat bookended by a murder and a parking boot on your car. But it can also be romantic walks along the lake, forever stares off the 95th floor of the Hancock, Old Style lubed Cubs games and enough culture for three lifetimes. Sweet home, Chicago

It's times like these when I wonder why I still live in Chicago. It's brutally cold, I owe $400 in parking tickets, and every time I turn on Fox News I have to hear about our corrupt politics. Yet, I love this city. I love the uniqueness of every neighborhood, the way native Chicagoans will befriend everyone in their local bar, the lakefront, the plethora of ethnic and neighborhood street festivals in the summer, and our whiny accents.
